Davie, FL- May 5th, 2021– Koenigsegg Florida welcomed for the first time in Florida the Mega-GT Koenigsegg Gemera.

Koenigsegg Florida enjoyed an exclusive reception to celebrate the new Mega-GT Gemera, providing an injection of excitement into Florida’s automotive landscape. The private event began with an invitation-only cocktail reception on Tuesday, March 31st at the Koenigsegg Florida facility in Davie, FL. Over 60 collectors and enthusiasts attended, all keen to indulge in this one-of-a-kind Koenigsegg experience.

The new twin-turbo free valve engine, Gemera Mega-GT, named the Tiny Friendly Giant (or TFG for short) is a progressive outlook on the powertrains of tomorrow. It offers a lighter, more efficient cradle-to-grave solution compared to any combustion engine before it. Combined with electrification, the Gemera uses next-generation combustion technology designed to renew liquid fuels.

Equipped with three electric motors, the Gemera can drive completely silent up to 300 km/h, and the powerful 800V battery offers in itself a range of up to 50 km. When the TFG is activated and the gas pedal hits the floor, the Gemera comes alive with a riotous roar as it disappears into the horizon. The Gemera is one of the safest mega cars out there and it is designed for worldwide homologation.
